I NEED YOU!!

I think I've already posted today but I've got an idea and I'm really excited to hear the response.
I've been thinking about doing something like this ever since I started my blog, but basically I want to create a series about body confidence and weight etc.

How do I need you?
This is where you come in. I'm looking for some girls that would be comfortable about sharing their body confidence views, weight journeys, issues.. anything to do with the subject. Many people shy away from talking about it, but its something we all do/have had an issue or problem with in our lives.

If you think you'd be comfortable getting involved, simply comment with you email and I'll send you an email explaining more and what I would like from you.
I'm looking for all kinds of people as I want to make it regular, and each post will be about you primarily.

Comment with your email if you want to get involved!!

Norway & Copenhagen // daisydaisyxxo

Hello everybody! When you read this I will probably be somewhere on my journey back to the UK after a crazy few days.
Me and my dad flew to Norway as my Nan (momo) is from there and we stayed with family. We stayed there for 2 nights and then got a ferry overnight to Copenhagen and stayed here there for 1 night. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been what we wanted at all. This is the first Christmas is many years that Norway has had no snow. Instead it wasn't even that cold, and was raining. When we got to Copenhagen it was tipping it down all morning, we went to see the Little Mermaid as my dad was desperate to see it, but after that we came back to the hotel and we haven't left since. It's been nice just relaxing because we've been non stop for the past few days.
I haven't been able to properly charge my phone due to me and my dad forgetting a plug adaptor, so I've been charging on computers which is so slow!!
I did bring my camera but to be honest I haven't really used it that much. I haven't really took many pictures at all, which is weird for me but I guess Ive just enjoyed spending time with my family.

We did tonnes whiles being in Norway. Saw everything there was to see, all family and even went shopping! There isn't much to see in Copenhagen so as long as my dad saw The Little Mermaid he was happy to just chill, so thats what we did. Were going home tomorrow and although I have enjoyed my time here, I'm ready to get back. 4-5 days feels like months!

Valentines Box Swap / Are you taking part?

Hey beauties, I hope you're all okay. Sorry for the lack of posts recently, as I mentioned in my previous post I'm actually away at the moment. We have just come to a new hotel and there is a huge computer part, so whiles the weather is awful, I'm taking the time to do some posting and catching up!

I recently saw on my Bloglovin' feed a post about a Valentines box swap. When I looked at the post, the first thing that caught my eye was 'open to anyone'. I was sold. This was my chance to take part in a real box swap!! Around Christmas when I first started DaisyDaisyxxo, I saw a lot of buzz around a Christmas box swap which some bloggers had organized but I was too late to sign up *sad face!!*

The lovely Lucie at fatbeautyx and Samantha at Mascara and Cakes have organised this Valentines box swap for UK residents only. Luckily I fall into this category, so I'm superrrr excited that I can actually take part!

How can I take part?

Its very easy! All you have to do is head over to this post and leave a comment with your email address. Either Lucie or Samantha will contact you to find out some details about yourself. You then have until January 30th to let all your follows know about the Valentines box swap, then on January 31st you will recieve an email with your valentines name and details. You then have just under 2 weeks to go out and get all your stuff for your swap to the value of £20 (or to the nearest  penny, make it fair!!), send it off and eagerly await your box back.

I can't wait to get started with my shopping. I think it's going to be a great way to make some new blogger friends (something which I haven't yet cracked!)

What are you waiting for?! Sign up today!!

2014 blogger challenge | new years inspiration

If I'm honest, after reading the first few posts of the 2014 blogger challenge, I felt a little disheartened about what I was going to write. Every post was very personal and showed a real journey from a dark time to a much happier one.
I'm a very average girl. Not much going on.. No real problems, no real dramas in my life. So when I was thinking about what to write, I had no idea. I was pretty poorly when I was a tiny baby, I had pyloric stenosis (if you want to know what it is, google it), but that was when I was about 4 weeks old and its never really effected my life in any way as I can't remember anything about it. I'm a VERY fussy eater and some people in my family blame it on that, but to be honest my eating has never really effected me in any way.. I'm still here and healthy, aren't I?

*Image this as some scene from a Hollywood movie*
I was looking around my room for ideas (I do that sometimes, no idea how or why it helps me but sometimes it just does, okay?) when I saw a frame that my mum had made for me. She's a graphic designer and we have many a poster of some sort that she's made around my house. In the frame was a quote she had found, which really applies to me. I knew instantly I wanted to use it in my post but then I wasn't sure how. Its not exactly a journey, more a part of me and my personality.

Not my mums original design, made this one myself

So as I said, this quote really applies to me. I would class myself as 'entrepreneurial', that makes me cringe hugely but its true. I get it from my mum. I'm always thinking of ideas of small business' that I can set up and do myself. When I was in upper school and I was too young and had too little experience to get a real job, my mum very kindly helped me set up my own jewellery selling business. It was obviously very little and didn't take off in any way shape or form but still it happened.
I then gave a go at making tye-dye tshirts and selling them (remember when they were cool?) but the time and money spent, I wasn't making nearly enough back.
Now I'm studying graphics at college and don't have any plans for when I leave as I don't want to go to uni, I would really love to somehow do something with my Graphics skills and make some kind of a business. Hmmmm, I can dream!

Anyways, I guess my message is just simple that you can achieve anything if you want to. Cliché but true.
