GENIUS BUBBLE BAR STORAGE | LUSH

Of course everyone loves saving money. Weather you make a conscious effort or not, it's always a good feeling having some spare pennies at the end of the month to spend on that brand new mascara. I read something a few months ago about this but I completely forgot about it until now. A new way to store your Lush bubble bars. Yes, we all know I'm a huge fan of them. How many of you have 20 small Lush baggies sitting in your bathroom?

You know it's a hard life when your main worry of the day is which of your 50,000 bubbles bars your going to use. The struggle is real. I genuinely spend a good 20 minutes before each bath going through every little bag smelling to see which your going to use today. That is where this comes in handy!

   You will need:
  • tupperware tubs
  • grater
  • bubble bars

Yup, grating bubble bars into a tub. Simple as that, but a genius idea nevertheless.

I bought a £1 grater from The Factory Shop next door to my work and tupperware tubs which were also £1 each. I picked the 3 bubble bars I wanted to put into pots, and simply grated them.

I know it sounds mad but it really is a very good idea. When I use a bubble bar, I pull off a chunk and crumble it into my bath. The chunks are always different sizes and quite often I end up using much more than I need meaning I'm loosing money. Wasting money every time I use too much. Today in my bath I used just two small handfuls of the grated product and it was more than enough. Normally I think I would probably use 10x this amount which is crazy!

Another thing I love about this simple yet effective idea is that they are so much easier to see/smell. It saves SO much time rather than going through each paper bag to see which you want to use. You could even put stickers on the top of each tub what each one is!

So there you have it. A stupidly genius way of storing Lush bubble bars. Thank me later!!

Will you be trying out this method? If you do, tweet me your pictures! @daisydaisyxxo

Lush | Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I'm not sure weather its the sickly sweet scent or the genuine LUSH feeling it leaves your lips that makes this lip scrub so very amazing. As I mentioned in this post last year, I have never been a Lush fan. I'm not sure why, I just haven't. However, that has surely changed (I say, after placing a £40 order last night, still having over 20 bubble bars to use up!). I received this lip scrub in a Christmas box swap that I did with a lovely blogger and I've used it almost every day since.

Firstly, may I point out its bright pink? Yes, bright pink. If this doesn't draw your attention to it, I don't know what would. Secondly, if that wasn't enough, the smell if just devine. "Good enough to eat", some might say! Well, never fear.. Good ole' Lush have made this edible! YES, EDIBLE! The lip scrubs are made from a host of ingredients including caster sugar (which is the exfoliator) so after using, you can literally lick it off clean.

I'm not sure what ever put me off buying one of these but let me tell you, I'll be buying it forever more! I might ever try out some different flavours!

Have you tried any of the Lush lip scrubs?

BLOGMAS | November Favourites

It's that time again!! Another month passed, and thank god. I know I shouldn't wish my life away but I currently am (for reasons I won't go in to!). Luckily, December always goes so fast! I'm patiently waiting for April to come and then I'll be happy again. Anyway, I thought I would share with you some things I've been loving this month!

Firstly this month I've been LOVING Lush. The bubble bar in this picture is actually 'Karma', but for my monthly faves it's Lush in general. I previously wrote about my new found love for bubble bars (here), and since I've never really been a huge Lush lover like most other bloggers I've fallen for it, hard. I placed a huge online order last month so I've slowly been using up those products but when I went to Cambridge at the weekend I got a few more bits.

This is another product I have wrote about before (here). I loved it first time round, but then I put it aside in favour of another blush however I really wasn't happy with the payoff I was getting from the newer one, so I got this oldie out again and GUESS WHAT: I LOVE IT again. It's back in my make up bag where it belongs!! Nothing has topped this!

Ahhh, my favourite favourite of this month. A bloggers fave, what more can I say? You've probably read 5000000000 reviews on this which is why I haven't bothered to review it but seriously, you NEED this eyeshadow and if you haven't got it, get it. Quick.

Well, what a genius product this is. I'm surprised I haven't actually seen many reviews about this because I bloody love it! For eyeliner novices like me, this is perfection. The tip makes it SO easy to do a flick, and that is coming from me! Honestly if you're new to eyeliner and struggling a bit, you need to get this!! Solves all issues.

I was sent this mascara from Cohorted after a bit of a mix up with an order I placed. I NEVER step out of my comfort zone with mascaras as I've mentioned so many times but I thought I'd give this one a go and honestly, I'm SO glad I did!! I absolutely adore(d, it's now run out!) this mascara and will 100% be repurchasing it! Thank you very much, Cohorted!

My last random favourite is Olbas Oil. I swear for the whole of November I had a cold. The first time I got it, it was so deadly I don't think I've ever suffered with a cold so badly!! I couldn't actually function properly! Now were in to December, I haven't yet *TOUCH WOOD* had a cold and I'm hoping massively that the cold germs are out of my system.

SO they are my faves for this month!! As ever please link me to your November favourite posts (if you have them!).

What are your November favourites?
