NEW IN | Beauty

Payday came around and I went a bit cray. Don't get me wrong, all the above didn't cost much, I have just accumulated quite a few bits over the past few weeks. If you want full reviews on anything mentioned in this post please just ask and I will see what I can do!

Starting with Collection... I was recently in my local Wilko's and I saw that there was a few new releases by Collection and they were SO CHEAP! All the three Collection products cost less than £9 as they were all under £3 each. I have been absolutely loving these products, I haven't tried much Collection recently but they have really upped their game!

Of course no makeup haul is complete without the Makeup Rev additions. The Makeup Rev primer is one that I repurchase time and time again as it is now my HG. I love it, very much. When I was picking up the primer I was stood in Superdrug thinking that although I have every Makeup Rev palette ever invented, I don't actually own many of their face products (yep, I know) so I picked up a baked blush. These are crazy pigmented which I always forget when applying it! I was also super lucky enough to be sent the Rose Gold lipstick collection and AHHH they are so nice. I have been wearing Chauffeur which I think is everybody's fave.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Matte Foundation £7.99 (£6 in Asda at the moment!)
I saw Rosi Pierce post somewhere about getting this when it was released and I'm pretty certain she said she was disappointed with it. I've been on a huge foundation kick recently after realising I don't ever buy foundations and only own about 2. I picked it up when I saw it was £6 in Asda. I don't love it, and I also don't hate it.

I am a complete NYX newbie. These are the only two items I own/ever have owned from NYX and I'm not completely blown away. I kinda like the palette, some colours are better than others but I think I need to try it more. I like the matte lip creams much more, but I defo got the wrong colour meaning I'm not in love with it. I think the right colour would make me like them more. Any suggestions?

I would love to hear how you got on with any of the products above, any suggestions you have and also what you've been trying out recently?

BLOGMAS | November Favourites

It's that time again!! Another month passed, and thank god. I know I shouldn't wish my life away but I currently am (for reasons I won't go in to!). Luckily, December always goes so fast! I'm patiently waiting for April to come and then I'll be happy again. Anyway, I thought I would share with you some things I've been loving this month!

Firstly this month I've been LOVING Lush. The bubble bar in this picture is actually 'Karma', but for my monthly faves it's Lush in general. I previously wrote about my new found love for bubble bars (here), and since I've never really been a huge Lush lover like most other bloggers I've fallen for it, hard. I placed a huge online order last month so I've slowly been using up those products but when I went to Cambridge at the weekend I got a few more bits.

This is another product I have wrote about before (here). I loved it first time round, but then I put it aside in favour of another blush however I really wasn't happy with the payoff I was getting from the newer one, so I got this oldie out again and GUESS WHAT: I LOVE IT again. It's back in my make up bag where it belongs!! Nothing has topped this!

Ahhh, my favourite favourite of this month. A bloggers fave, what more can I say? You've probably read 5000000000 reviews on this which is why I haven't bothered to review it but seriously, you NEED this eyeshadow and if you haven't got it, get it. Quick.

Well, what a genius product this is. I'm surprised I haven't actually seen many reviews about this because I bloody love it! For eyeliner novices like me, this is perfection. The tip makes it SO easy to do a flick, and that is coming from me! Honestly if you're new to eyeliner and struggling a bit, you need to get this!! Solves all issues.

I was sent this mascara from Cohorted after a bit of a mix up with an order I placed. I NEVER step out of my comfort zone with mascaras as I've mentioned so many times but I thought I'd give this one a go and honestly, I'm SO glad I did!! I absolutely adore(d, it's now run out!) this mascara and will 100% be repurchasing it! Thank you very much, Cohorted!

My last random favourite is Olbas Oil. I swear for the whole of November I had a cold. The first time I got it, it was so deadly I don't think I've ever suffered with a cold so badly!! I couldn't actually function properly! Now were in to December, I haven't yet *TOUCH WOOD* had a cold and I'm hoping massively that the cold germs are out of my system.

SO they are my faves for this month!! As ever please link me to your November favourite posts (if you have them!).

What are your November favourites?

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencils

So I was recently reading Sarah's post about these Maybelline Colour Drama lip pencils and when I was out shopping the other day, before I knew it I had paid and two of these bad boys were coming home with ME. How did it happen!? I'm still asking myself this question.

In Sarah's post she compared them with the NARS Lip Pencils. If you know me, you'll know 'high end' isn't my forte and I muuuuch prefer high street (post coming on this soon!). As I can't compare them I will just tell you what I think about them.

(please excuse my messy red one, oops)

So these pencils are an interesting one. On the outside they honestly look like a pencil that you would write with (yeah I know mine don't look like that anymore!) but then when you put them on they are incredibly pigmented and such a different texture to what you would imagine. Although I think my pictures do make them look quite nice, they really don't do them enough justice. I can't believe how pigmented they are and at £4.99 they really are just a massive steal. They are very matte but I wouldn't say they are too drying. However if you don't like this feel, grab a clear gloss and your sorted!

There are so many shades there will defiantly be one there for you. G'waaan go and get some. you'll love them.. don't say I didn't warn ya!!

Will you be trying these out? What colour do you like the best?

High end VS High street!

If you follow me on Twitter you will know that I haven't been on any kind of blogging programme (blogger, Bloglovin' etc) since Friday and I genuinely have withdrawal symptoms!! Its crazzyyy!
Today I have for you the next 2014 Blogger Challenge challenge, which is high end VS high street. When I first read the task I originally thought that I might create a look from both high end products and high street, but as the time to publish pushed closer and closer (I think I might even be late, again!!) I decided to do the easy option - a wish list!!

It was A LOT easier to do a wish list for the high street products, I think this is simply because I'm a cheap makeup kinda girl and don't ever spend too much on anything, so high end prices scare me away! I'm a firm believer that you can get the same quality for much cheaper prices!!

High street will always win for me :P

What are you favourite high street/high end picks? Do you have any of the same as mine?
aaannddd.. if you have reviews for ANY of the above please comment with links I will read all!
