Topshop Lipstick 'Wicked'

The day has finally come. I own a topshop lipstick. After the huge hype on the lipsticks, I've been desperate to try one but have never got round to buying myself one (mainly because we have only recently got makeup in my local shop). I look at the makeup practically every time I'm in there, weather I be shopping or at work. I really wanted to get Wicked, and my friend Amelia accidentally told me she had got me one for Christmas, but due to not seeing her much we only gave each other presents last week.

WHY DO MY LIPS ALWAYS LOOK SO HORRIBLE IN THESE PICTURES?!
Anyway, I love this colour. Its a perfect berry colour and to be honest my lips don't do it justice!!

Do you have any Topshop lipsticks?

Lee Stafford products

I didn't want to make this a review post as I don't feel like I've used the products enough to do an honest review. I've always been a fan of Lee Stafford hair products so I just thought I would share with you some of my favourites.

I received these for Christmas from the boyfy, which I thought was so sweet as boys aren't known to be massive hair product buyers. Last year I got toni & guy! I love the packaging, how couldn't you love that pink?! I think I probably got 3 as boots probably had a 3 for 2 on.
I got the 'for hair that never grows past a certain length' series, mainly because my boyf knows my battle with my hair growing back since I cut it all off! (post coming soon!!)
If you want to try these products you can find the shampoo here, conditioner here and the treatment here.

Transformation

I'd had an idea in my head for ages that I really wanted to try out so when I was doing my makeup today I thought it would be the perfect chance. I won't go into too much detail about products used because you can read about that in yesterdays post here.

I was thinking how amazing makeup really is. Some people can be absolutely transformed with the help of makeup. I wouldn't say makeup transforms me or makes me look much different than I would without makeup really, I use it more to enhance rather than cover. I often wear no makeup, or very little of and I would happily go out like that (I always do!!) so I feel as though I'm happy with the way I look, with and without makeup. I know girls who won't step foot outside unless they've got a full face of makeup on.

Enhance or cover?

What do I carry in my makeup bag?

I have seen many a 'whats in my makeup bag' posts, but I thought instead of sticking to the norm, I will show you what I carry in my makeup bag. What do I mean by this?! Well, I'm assuming not everybody uses EVERY single product they carry in their makeup bags (well I certainly don't!) so I thought i'd show you what I carry around incase I need it.

Firstly, this is my makeup bag. My pride and joy. I got this for Christmas from one of my closest friends Molly, who has actually recently started a blog herself. You can find that here.
You can get yourself a makeup bag similar to mine here.
So for my face I carry these products. I got the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation for Christmas, and although I do really like it, it is very heavy for me as before this I only ever used bb creams which were much thinner. Mine is in the shade 'dark beige' and its no. 55. I use Collection Sheer Loose Powder everyday as my powder, along with Natural Collection Bronzer. The next 3 are products I don't use very often. I received the very hyped Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer for Christmas and I have used it a few times but I notice that when I use it, it really stings my face and I'm not too sure why but I don't tend to use it much. I used to use the Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit before I got the Collection one, but I think its too heavy for my face. Finally, I have the Collection Blush & Highlight Cream Duo but as I don't use blush and I'm really not too sure how to use the highlighter, I haven't used this much (any tips?!?)

Next on to my brows. I got Benefit Brow Zings kit for Christmas and I have used it every day, ever since. Before this I just used a natural collection eyeshadow, but this kit has been a life saver.

For my eyes I carry the Topshop Smokey Eye Palette in 'Golden Aura' that I got for my secret santa present, and I don't wear this every day but I do use it a lot. Its sent from heaven, truly! I carry 3 mascaras, which some may say is excessive BUT I do have good reason. I wear a lot of mascara and sometimes I need 3. These are Benefit 'They're Real'NYC High Definition Separating Mascara and the NYC High Definition Volumising MascaraBourjois Liner Pinceau is just something I carry incase I need it but I rarely use this.

All my brushes are from the ELF brush kit. I use the powder, bronzing and eyebrow brush every day where as the other ones I only use if I need to. I carry the foundation brush incase I feel like using it but this is very, very rare!

I hope you enjoyed this post, its a bit different to something I would normally do and took me a long time to do due to all the links etc! Let me know what you think.

What is in your makeup bag? Are any of your products the same? Let me know!!

Kate Moss lipsticks

Back with yet another lippy post! If you can't already tell I'm a bit lipstick-crazy.
Today I'm showing you my favourite two of the Kate Moss lipsticks that I own. I think I own 4 and the other 2 are nudey shades that I don't like nor wear. I'm not a nude kinda girl.. If i'm going to wear a lipstick I'll wear a colour.

Here are no.12 and 13. 12 is the first swatch and 13 the second. As you can tell, 12 is the more pinky colour out of the two, and 13 is more red red. I wear 12 more as it suits me better, although they are both lovely shades! Theres a kind of bargain shop near my mums work that sells loads of cheap makeup (I should go there soon, I always forget!) and they sell these lipsticks for a few pound which is amazing as I think they retail at about a fiver. They only do a few colours though and I'm pretty sure I have them all!

Have you ever tried a Kate Moss lipstick?

YSL sheer lipstick / daisydaisyxxo

Another over due post as I said there would be some this week. This was actually my gift from my mum when they returned from their holiday at the end of December. She's quite good to me really as she knows I wouldn't have appreciated some old tat, and she got this in duty free which made it slightly cheaper. It's my first 'designer' lipstick and she knew I wanted one as she got one for Christmas last year and I was very jealous.

Mine is a sheer candy one and I can't remember the exact colour but you can buy one similar here for £23.50. I personally wouldn't EVER even dream of spending that money on a lipstick but now I have it I'm very glad as I've been wearing it loads. It has a lovely smell to it too, someone said oranges but I'm still not 100% on what the actual smell is.
I really love this lipstick as it is sheer so it isn't a proper full on colour but is a very lovely tint and surprisingly much like a lip balm!

What was your first designed lipstick? Have you got a YSL lippy?
