NPW Gifts - The Perfect Gift Shop For Anyone

Let me start this post by apologising. I must be truthful and tell you I've had this little box of goodness sitting in the spare room for god knows how long. My little break may definetely caused me to forget about these bad boys, but then I had the age old blogger problem of 'I haven't photographed it, so I can't use it yet' - even though I wasn't actually blogging at the time - c'mon, we've all been there.

I found NPW Gifts when searching out brands to donate to the #SuffolkBloggerMeet. They were unable to gift anything to the meet up, but they still wanted to gift something to me *happy dance*. I had one of those moments where this arrived through the door and I didn't have a clue where it came from. After a little digging I found the emails between us and it all made sense. Yay.

NPW Gifts were SO generous to me and sent me several bits to try. Sadly, I have tried to register on their website so that I can find out prices but it won't accept my blog link as a web address. I'm not sure if they are a wholesaler, or if anyone can buy from them *will update this soon*. The packaging for every single item is just absolutely amazing, I would buy these products from that alone!

These tiny little pots come in threes; cucumber hand cream, paw paw & pomegranate face mask and almond hair mask. On the website it says that they are for 'woman on the move, one time use pods for on the go', which I really love the idea of. Picture being on a train and just whipping one of these out your bag - well, hand cream only. Imagine putting on a face mask on the train?! I must admit I haven't actually tried any of these yet however they sound lovely. Almond hair mask just screams out to me!

These had me as soon as I saw the packaging. Little milk shape bottles in a brown paper box?! Again, I can't comment on the actual product as I am yet to try them but jeeees these sound amazing. I always remember I used to read about putting yogurt on the face when I was younger; they do coffee face masks which you can buy on the high street, and I'm sure oats will be good too.

Beauty Junky Tissues* | Beauty Junky Wipes* | Panda Cotton Buddies*
All of these are massive hand bag essentials. I use cotton buds on a daily and the Panda cotton buddies make them so much more fun! The hand wipes have gone straight in my handbag - ha ha, get it? - who couldn't want strawberries & cream flavoured wipes? And, *touch wood* I've not actually had a cold yet this year but as we go into the cold months I'm sure I'll be suffering. I always suffer from bad colds :(

I bought some exfoliating face pads from Primark once and really wasn't impressed. I just didn't feel like they were doing anything for me, I really didn't understand the point of them. However, I would try them again as that was quite some years ago and I might have a different opinion now!

If you follow me on Twitter - and if you don't, do it now - you'll have seen that I have recently become a bit obsessed with face masks. Don't ask why, I have just been loving them and really noticing a difference to my skin when I use them. These cooling eye masks will be amazing when I have a pamper session using my new found love of face masks!

Hair glitter is one of those things you love to use at festivals but probably wouldn't use it for anything else. Sadly festival season is over now but this will stay in my draw - I'm thinking a potential Christmas eye look?!

Lastly these lovely rollerball trio. Do you remember rollerballs? I'm sure I used to have them when I was younger so this brought back loads of memories for me. Lipgloss, body glitter and perfume. A complete 90's throw back, eh! The lipgloss has flowers in it too!

Yet again, these would have been perfect for festival season (although who am I kidding, I don't think I went to a single festival hahaha). I have a black tie & ball gown Christmas party to go to in a few weeks and I have this image of a low back dress with one of these gorgeous tattoos on my back.

I am stupidly excited about this one. Christmas is round the corner so all the advent calendars are creeping out, but this one isn't made for Christmas, it's mad for ALL YEAR ROUND! How bloody exciting. This year I bought Tanya Burr's 12 days of Christmas calendar meaning I won't have one for the whole month so I might double up and have this one too. It could work, right? I'll update Twitter/Facebook with the contents if you're interested.

SO, there we have it. My mammoth post is nearly over. I'm sorry if I've bored you to death, there was a lot to write about! I might do an update post reviewing everything once it's all been tried & tested - please let me know if this is something you'd like to see!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

I know a lot of people aren't in to the rising YouTube/blogger stars 'take over the world' kind of thing. Although I would love to agree, I always find myself buying in to it in some way or another. I mean, I spend hours every day watching various videos and hand on heart I think every blogger/video creator would be lying if they said that ultimately that wasn't their goal. Imagine doing this for a living? You can't deny it would be pretty fab.

I have never bought any kind of 'merch*' (*mainly talking about clothing), but when YouTubers I 'look up to' - how cringe is that, but no other way to put it - bring out beauty products, thats when I really pay attention. I tried, and disliked Zoella's products but I am pretty happy to say Tanya Burr's products are a completely different story.

I'm not claiming to love them and replace all my old faves with them but I must admit I am a fan. Her old collection eyelashes were always my go to lashes and although I'm not a gloss wearer, if I HAD to I would highly recommend Tanya's. I have never gone out of my way to buy these products, as for the same price there are others I enjoy a lot more, but I'm never sad to receive them as a gift. Tanya's old collect consisted of lashes, glosses & nail polishes (avid lash wearer, hate glosses and I bite my nails). Her old collection wasn't really for me. But makeup?! That's what she's best known for so I expected a lot from these.

Well??...
The main and obvious point is that the packaging is very different. I absolutely love this new packaging, I feel like this shows a lot more personality and I also think it gives the brand a lot of brownie points - especially from bloggers and girls - because who can resist the gold and pink packaging with the gorgeous text.

I've chosen not to feature too heavily on the lip glosses, as I feel like I wouldn't give a fair review on it because as I've mentioned, a thousand times, I don't wear gloss if you didn't already know.

But the eyeshadow. A very mixed bag for me.

Lets start with Nude Delight. In Tanya's video where she uses this palette, she describes nude delight as the shade for highlighting under the brow bone. I'm unsure. It's very chalky and almost a matte white, with little to zero shimmer at all. I wouldn't recommend it as a highlight as it doesn't give any light. I haven't tried it as a base shade, which it could be used for too. Next we have Gold Coin - one of my firm faves. It's not amazingly pigmented but you can really build it which is what I like to do. Either have a real light wash of a goldy colour, or you can really build this to be a heavy shimmery gold. It's certainly an every day colour, no matter how you choose to wear it.

Enchantment was the one that I thought would steal my heart with this palette. A dark brown with really large and heavy chunks of gold glitter running through it - perfect! Even on swatching it looks gorgeous however this is so not the case when you put it on the eye. I honestly don't know what it is! You can see from the photo its had quite a lot out of the pan and this is because every time I try to use it, I use so much product in hope for a real deep gold but it just never happens! Maybe I might try using it wet or something, as I'm really sad about it. Lastly Bookworm - the most perfect crease colour if ever there was one! It's very very build-able, and again, you can really build this to make a strong colour. I have been reaching for this daily, and its 100% my favourite from this whole palette.

Although it's a mixed bag, I know there has been products added to the collection including a bronze, highlight and blush trio which I swatched in store and they looked amazing! I would be curious to try more products from the range, as I'm not completely overwhelmed and I'm not completely disappointed.

What is your fave from the new releases?

I'm Back....

Yup, you read right. I'm hopefully not lying when I say I'm back!! I honestly couldn't even tell you where I've been for the past few months.. I just haven't had any mojo and even felt like closing shop completely. I'm not sure what's come over me (maybe the fact my boyfriend has just got a PS4 so I'll be looking for ways to kill the time..) but I really am raring to go and more excited than ever! I'm going to use the rest of this year to get back into the swing of things and then I'm hoping 2016 will be my year for all things blogging. I'm going to get myself a new design, some new and different ideas and get on with it! YAY!

I'm now starting to make the final preparations for the #SuffolkBloggerMeet, which is all a bit crazy at the moment as I've also just started a new job and I am working some crazy hours. I am LOVING my new job, I think its something I really do well in and it's perfect for me, but enough of work talk, I'll save that for another time.

I don't want to keep 'daisy walters' (a name change?! oooh errr....) as all things beauty, I want to add some other aspects in to it. I'm not saying I'll become some fashion guru, because lets be honest, that will not be happening any time soon. But hey, a bit of a mix would be lovely, wouldn't it?! So if you have any ideas of what you want to see on here, please do let me know.

Oh and also, thank you so very much for all your kind tweets asking where I am. I'm still here. Just getting my head around life and balancing it as best as I can.

Missguided Crop Top £2 | Topshop Blouse £3.50

I'm actually shocked I'm still writing these posts. I think this is the longest I've ever kept up with something so you should all be proud of me (even if it did take a while to get up and running!). If you're confused what I'm even talking about you can catch up with the previous posts HEREHEREHERE and HERE. A bit of a mixed bag this week, 2 items as usual but with 1 being from eBay and 1 being from a selling site like last week.

Missguided Crop Top £2, brand new with tags. Price: £2 Delivery: None
I actually bought the skirt to this about a week before I saw this on my Facebook feed. This was from the same girl that I bought the skirt from last week, I bought a lot from her. I have never ordered/worn a co-ord because I genuinely cannot pull them off to save my life but she wanted so little for the top I thought I'd get it anyway. I tried it on once, I couldn't even do it up over my boobs. I've never tried again.

On a completely different note, Missguided sizes are soooo strange! I admittedly have put on a fair bit of weight recently but a few months ago I ordered a skirt which was a size 6; as I would usually buy. It wasn't even close to fitting. I ordered an 8 and it fits but it's tight. I couldn't cope with ordering a 10, not that there is anything wrong with being a size 10 but how can someone fit in a size 4 pair of jeans from Topshop and need a size 10 skirt from a different website?! Has anyone else found their sizing weird?! Would love to know! Back to the blog post...

Topshop Blouse, worn. Price: £3.50 Delivery: £4
I paid too much for this item. For starters, it's over 2 years worth of seasons out of date. I was sucked in to a eBay war, as usual. I'm competitive, what can I say?! Secondly, I'm an avid eBayer. I know how much it costs to post a flimsy little blouse and I can tell you right now it isn't £4. If you really tried you cost post it in a letter, it would even cost £1 but hey ho it could be an honest mistake.

Nevertheless I'm the stupid one that paid this amount of money and luckily I really love the top. It's a bit tight on my shoulders but not so much that I can't wear it. It's very see-through so I have to wear something underneath which, if I'm honest, I hate the look of. But it's a really lovely summery top that I think I will get a fair bit of wear out of and then I could just sell it on again to make some of my money back. Walaaah!

Have you got any #eBayFinds? Tweet me with pictures! Would love to see them :)

What was your favourite item of today? Let me know in the comments!

#SuffolkBloggerMeetUp

Hey guys, just a quickie from me! You might have seen me completely spamming Twitter recently with tweets about the #SuffolkBloggerMeet. Living in Suffolk, there are NO events close to me. There are always events in London etc but for me its a £45+, 2 hour train journey that I can neither afford or be bothered to do. SO on Friday I thought why not arrange my own meet up and WALAAHH. Here we are!

I had said all along that I wasn't committing to it until I had confirmed a venue, date and time. 3 days after deciding I was going to do this meet up, I have nearly confirmed a venue, pretty much decided a date and know a time. It's been like a crazy whirlwind but it's very exciting!

The reason I have been spamming Twitter and now I'm writing this post is because I need people to sign up! It literally takes 15 seconds and it really really helps me out. I'm unable to fully confirm a venue until I have an idea of numbers. I have had SO many people on Twitter say they really want to come but then haven't signed up so I can't count them as a number. It's by no means saying you are tied to coming, it's just counting so I can make an average! Please please please can you all sign up even if you are 1% interested, it would mean the world! Link below.

Missguided Skort £4 | Topshop High Neck Top £5

Waaahooo look at me being a good blogger and sticking to a promise I made for once! As I said this would be regular I've made a hugeeeee effort to make sure that I'm true to my word! (Does it count that I'm writing these in bulk whiles I have motivation?) As always you can catch up with my previous posts HERE, HERE and HERE. Although I must make a tiny confession. These two items weren't actually bought from eBay*, soz! However, they weren't bought brand new so I feel it still counts.

Missguided Skort, worn. Price: £4 Delivery: None
I bought this when I went through a stage of only buying going-out suitable outfits. I'm not even sure why I ever went through that phase, I rarely go out as it is and when I do go out I never normally enjoy myself. Anyways, I figured this would be nice for a summery outfit regardless. I'm thinking high top converse and a light t-shirt? We all know I am a skirts/dresses/shorts and trainers girl.

Topshop High Neck Top, worn. Price: £5 Delivery: None
I'm not actually sure I did pay £5 for this top but I cannot find the PayPal transaction so I'm going to say it was around that price. This was another item I wanted when it came in to store 2+ years ago and I don't think it was ever expensive (maybe £20 max?) but I just didn't buy it for some reason. I grabbed it immediately when I saw it whiles scrolling through my Facebook feed one day. I think it's a 6 which is now a bit too small for me as I've been putting on weight but it still looks fine. It's very simple and easy to wear which is why I love it so much!

Have you got any #eBayFinds? Tweet me with pictures! Would love to see them :)

What was your favourite item of today? Let me know in the comments!

*The items were actually bought from a local things for sale page. Similar to eBay with the same kind of bargains, just most the time you don't pay for postage and instead you collect them. Not sponsored, bought with my own money :)

A Evening At The Races - #NewmarketNights

This wasn't actually a planned blog post (heck, if it was I would have got a better picture of my makeup and outfit!) but I thought I'd do a quick little write up about it anyways as it's more 'lifestyle' and as I've mentioned 1000 times I want to start including more lifestyle here on my blog.

Newmarket Nights come around every single year and I always say 'next year I'll go to some'. Come next year and I'm still sitting there wishing I was going. Two things you might not know about me: I love the races and I love gambling. Hey, I'm not the biggest spender when I do gamble but I go through phases (please don't call me an addict!). I once won £100 off a 25p scratch card, but I think that was probably my biggest win to date.

As soon as tickets were released for Madness I knew I had to go. My family, especially, are always that one annoying family dancing to every Madness song at weddings and parties, lets be honest everyone loves them. An excuse to dress up, listen to live music and gamble? I'M THERE! I got two Grandstand & Paddock tickets which were around £35 each. My boyfriends auntie, mum and step dad also got tickets and we arranged that we would all go. Fast forward 6 months:

Would you believe I went through buying 3 different pairs of shoes, 4 outfits (2 of the same dresses in different colours) and 2 hair styles to decide what I was going to wear! In the end I went with this gorgeous black dress from Boohoo.com. I ordered it in black and blush pink but the black was 10x better in my opinion! Kayne is wearing a River Island shirt and Topman jeans. He looked gorgeous.

Being in the Grandstand & Paddock meant that we had shelter which came in handy because at one point it did tip it down. Luckily it did stop after a while but you can't expect to go to the races and not have any rain! I actually won/placed in 5 out of 6 races which always happens. I never put much money on but always win some back! All my family get so annoyed because I really am so jammy! Although I wasn't technically 'up' when I ended the night, but I went home with money and spend a lot whiles I was there.

I haven't actually got any more Newmarket Nights booked but after going to this one I really want to book some more last minute. McBusted are on the day before my birthday so I'm hoping someone will want to come to that with me! Fingers crossed...

Do you enjoy the races? Who have you seen?

Boohoo.com Cropped Cami 99p | Topshop Petite Midi Dress 50p

eBay finds is back. Yup, for real. And guess what? I'm hoping it's going to stay regular (well, until the series runs out of posts at least..) I'm actually so surprised at the amount of people that still tweet me asking for these posts. It was the beginning of March when I bought these items and I'm writing about them now, nearly July. HEY HO, it's here and thats the main thing. You can catch up with my previous posts HERE and HERE.

Boohoo.com Cropped Cami, brand new with tags. Price: 99p Delivery: £3.20
I must admit I had no idea this was cropped as it wasn't actually listed as cropped and if you know me, you know I hate crop tops. I wouldn't have bought it knowing it was cropped (and it really is cropped, I think it just about covers my boobs!) but it's brand new with tags for 99p so you can't really complain. For under a fiver, you can't really complain although I do think I will be giving this to my younger cousin (thank me later, Em!)

Topshop Petite Midi Dress, very worn. Price: 50p Delivery £3.20
If you've been reading my blog for a long time you'll know I used to work part time in Topshop. I wanted this dress when it came in (a good 2 years ago now!) and I never got it. When I saw it on eBay, although I knew it was years old I still really wanted it. The dress is very bobbled and parts are worse than others but for 50p I just cannot complain. How could you?!

As always, remember to tweet me your #eBayFinds so I can see what you've got!

Makeup Revolution Amazing Lip Liners

I am definitely late to the party with this post. I mean, I did receive these in the post the day the launched but HEY as I'm always saying I'm slack. You don't need to read my excuses, you already know the drill!

What's that I hear you cry? Makeup Revolution have finally answered our prayers and launched lip liners?!?! You would be correct. And boy are they good! With only 8 colours currently in the collection, you're certainly limited if your a red lip kind of girl but we can't have it all. Let's just hope that this is just the start of the lip liner revolution with more hopefully being released soon!

The liners themselves are in pencil form with magical lids that can only be described as 'sent from heaven'. I mean, c'monnnnn.. A lid that sharpens the pencil? It really isn't rocket science, but I can firmly tell you right now I don't own a pencil sharpener of any kind! *bad beauty blogger right here* so these really are summmmin' else. I think it's MUA that already do a pencil in this form but really every brand should follow suit! It really is amazing.

I always try to steer clear from pencil lip liners. It's kind of like an un-written rule. They are notorious to be sharp, scratchy and not very pigmented but these are so very different! Creamy, non scratchy, pigmented and yup, still pencil form. Who would have thought it?! The only let down is again, the colour range! I don't love a pink lip, I have warmed to it don't get me wrong but unless you like a dark purple or a barbie pink, these won't interest you.

Oh, and I totally meant to save the best bit until last. They are £1 each. Or go nuts, buy all 8 and save yourself £2. BARG

(links in order of colour, I think!)

So there you have it! All the low down on the new kids on the block. Enjoy!

The Best Triangl Dupe On Earth?

Triangl Dupe | eBay

Well this doesn't feel weird at all.. Nope, not one bit. *I'm lying if you can't detect my sarcasm, it never translates well through the computer screen!* Anyways, I haven't died but thanks for those of you that checked up on me. I'm still here. Just a serious lack of motivation - yup, again - so I thought today I'd gently ease myself back to my blog by writing about something that is easy peasy and doesn't take much thought.

If you've been here since the start you probably (or if you don't, you now will) know that back in the good old days I blogged about anything and everything. Yup, quite literally. My blog had no limits! After a few months, I took a look at my stats and realised that certain posts were really not doing as well as others. Fashion posts, if I'm being honest with you. I just cannot see how anyone can blog solely about fashion! Although then again, just because it doesn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for everyone. There are plenty of fashion blogs out there that do well. Each to their own, n'all that! So I quickly sacked them off. For a long time I classed myself as a beauty blogger. A long time being a year+. I've recently changed my genre again. Whiles I still blog mainly about beauty, I haven't limited myself to just beauty and I let myself chuck in a different post here and there. Albeit not very often, but still. It makes me feel better about it.

Anywaaaays I'm a self proclaimed cheapskate. I've admitted it plenty of times and hey, were all friends here. I can't imagine I'd be too much different if I had all the money in the world. Why would you pay so much money for something you can get for literally 1/20th of the price?! It doesn't make sense to me. *brings on the star of the show*

The Best Triangl Dupe On Earth. There, I've said it. It's a bold statement to make. But I genuinely believe that out of all the dupes I've seen, this is probably the best. I don't tend to keep up with trends but I think the Triangl trend has died down(?!) although with Summer slowly upon us I can already see the copious amounts of bikini pictures that will grace my eyes.

I must admit I have never even searched a Triangl bikini so I'm not 100% certain on the prices of them but I do believe they retail at around £100, give or take. This dupe? Not even £5. Go mad, order one in every colour. The postage and packaging costs more than the bikini does! The only difference is the fabric. From what I gather, the Triangl bikinis are made from scuba material. These are your bog standard bikini material but hey, you've got to compromise. For such little price, who cares what the material is. The sizing is a little strange so I would recommend actually measuring your size as I have one in a S and one in a M and they both feel the same. Sounds too good to be true, I know. But have faith, try one for yourself..

You can thank me later. *kissey emoji*

Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Eyebrow Palette

Well this post has been a bloody long time coming. How long ago did I receive this in the post? Gosh, I don't even want to think. Have you noticed how slack I have been with blogging just recently? Well, I can't even say 'just recently', it's been for about a year or so. I reckon I'm probably the only blogging in the world that has 30+ drafts ready to be written but just no inspiration or motivation to write them. Feeling utterly crap about my blog on Tuesday I decided to try and have a clean up and ultimately ended up breaking everything. I've added buttons, have you seen? But they are too big and I don't know how to change it. It's a working progress but back to the reason you are here..

BROWS.

Believe it or not this was actually a 'new release' when I received it, the day it came out. Better late than never though, eh? Meet the new love of my life. Now we all know about my brows. You must know about my brows, it's not like I ever bore people to death with brow chat?! Me, no, never!! Until this brow palette came along I just got by with my trusty MUA £3.50 brow palette. Yup, you heard me right! I don't pay hundreds of pounds for brow products like some people seem to think I do. That has been replaced.

When I saw this on the new releases page on the website, I thought it looked pretty compact and small. Easy enough to carry around every day. But much to my surprise, it isn't as small and compact as I was expecting. If you've ever had/seen the Makeup Rev eyeshadow palettes, its exactly the same size as that. I can't carry it in my makeup bag, thats for sure. Nevertheless I do end up carrying this around with me every day, it's my new favourite makeup item I own (and thats saying a lot!).

4 powders, 2 waxes, a cream highlight, a powder highlight, a pencil, 2 mini brushes and mini tweezers.. please tell me what more you could possibly want from an eyebrow palette? Weather your a pencil, powder, wax, wax and powder girl it doesn't matter. It has it all covered! And guess what?! They are all brilliant. With so much going on you would expect certain bits to be worse than others but they really aren't! I honestly could not fault it, and thats coming from the self proclaimed brow obsessive.

This brow palette comes in 3 different ranges; fair to medium, medium to dark and extra dark to black. Not only does it come in 3 ranges, each has (technically) 7 shades of colour so you'd be very wrong if you told me you couldn't find a colour to match you. With so much product and at only £7.99, this palette is going to last you a long while and won't break the bank when you need to repurchase. I will 150% be buying it again, maybe even before I've run out so I can have one at home and one at the boyfriends. That way I don't have to carry it around with me!

What is your brow holy grail? Any brow palettes you recommend?

Motives Cosmetics

 Motives Cosmetics

Motives cosmetics was a new brand introduced to me when I recently received an email asking if I wanted to try some products out. Never one to turn down the chance to try a new brand, of course I eagerly said yes and awaited my parcel to come. I had no idea what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. The makeup market is now so huge with new brands coming out what seems like every day it takes a lot to impress a beauty blogger. In case you don’t have a clue what Motives Cosmetics is about like I didn’t, they are very similar to the likes of Avon whereby representatives sell you products through hosting parties.

I was contacted by Andreea who offered to send me two lipsticks and a blusher. She is a rep that runs her own website through the Motives Cosmetics brand. A self proclaimed lipstick hoarder, I love getting new lipsticks to play with. With probably millions of varieties out there, I have tried a lot of tones and shades and probably worn some that don’t suit me at all. Only recently getting into using blusher in the past year or so, I am slowly starting to build up a collection of them to give a small army but I always enjoy trying new one.

I was sent 2 lipsticks (the pink one is called Magenta but I cannot for the life of me remember the same of the other one!! I will update this soon!). Although the picture is making them look quite a bit brighter than what they really are, they are really lovely colours. Glide on with no trouble at all and are so pigmented its mad. Magenta has really cool undertones and is almost iridescent which is gorgeous and for a non-bright pink lipstick wearer, this one is actually very wearable and a welcome newbie to my lippy collection. The second (currently un-named) lipstick is a bright coral colour which is definitely more on a 'me' colour. The picture makes it look like a florescent orange colour but in real life its much more toned down. I wore this recently on Twitter and everyone went mad for it wanting to know where it was from so here you go - you now know! For £12, I probably wouldn't rush out to buy every one of these because I am underpaid and wouldn't be able to afford it. BUT nevertheless they are really really nice lipsticks and 100% give high end brands a run for their money!

Motives Blusher- £10 each*
Before I tell you about the actual blusher, the packaging is just brilliant. This is literally the perfect size to pop in your handbag when you are just packing essentials. It's not too small that you cant use it, but it's just a perfect size to carry around with you nicely. NOW on to the actual product.. well, just like the lipsticks I am so impressed. What I love about this blusher is that it isn't actually stupidly pink, its a nice colour that is very buildable. It's similar to Sleek - Rose Gold which is my all time favourite blusher. Motives blusher has actually become my every day blush and I apply it with the Real Techniques blush brush, very lightly and then build it if I want more of a deep colour.

I am so impressed by this brand. I am always skeptical of brands like this because sometimes reputations can be bad (pushy sellers etc) but Andreea was such a delight to work with and I will defo be trying out some more of their products in the near future.

The absoloutely lovely Andreea has kindly offered a code to all my readers! 10% off by using 10OFFMA

Yves Rocher Summer Ready Hair

You may have recently seen that I worked with Yves Rocher on a smokey eye makeup look (if you missed that you can find it here). I was super impressed with everything I tried and over the moon when Holly asked if I wanted to try some hair care bits. I've mentioned it loads of times on my blog now but I really do not take care of my hair at all. I know I should try a lot harder than I do but I'm just lazy, there isn't much more I can say about the matter so I was excited to get using these.

I really wanted to save this until last as it is by far my favourite product out of all these but I didn't want to go against the order of the photo (ha ha ha!) but this product is just indescribable. I have never, ever heard of anything like this for your hair. Why on earth would you want to put vinegar on your hair?! It literally made no sense. Then I smelt it. And uh. If you follow me on Twitter or have liked my Facebook page you would have probably seen me writing about this on there because this thing is just insane. I cant even describe it! The smell is incredible. After smelling this all day on the day I got it, I had to make raspberry jelly later that night. I've never smelt any kind of hair product like this, it smells so good I could honestly eat it. I recently went blonder and have been using Touch Of Silver shampoo and although the shampoo is amazing and does a great job, it leaves my hair dryer than dry. I have been using this afterwards and not only does it leave my hair smelling lushious, it 100% leaves it very shiny. I will definately be repurchasing this once I've used it all up.

I'm such a sucker for a 2 in 1 product and this hair and body wash is exactly that. The idea that you don't have to take two separate products excites me. Yup, I am lazy I'll admit. This product has a smell that I just cannot put my finger on and honestly, I've sat smelling it for ages and I still cant work it out. I want to say play-dough but I know it isn't that, I just cant work out what it is! I have been using this daily and it's a really nice body wash. It lathers really well and the scent does stay on your body too. A super body wash for the price and again, I think I shall be repurchasing again!

If I'm being honest I haven't actually put this on my hair yet as I was worried about it. As I'm blonde, I was so scared that it would tinge my hair as its slightly orange BUT I have been using it on my body (I'm not even sure if it's for the body?!) and it is such a lovely product. I can imagine applying this on my legs and arms when wearing a summer dress as it adds a really lovely glow and has tiny glitter particles in it too which reflect in the sun. It has the same scent as the body wash which is lovely and again, lingers on the skin.

This shampoo is a non-lathering shampoo and contains no sulfates or parabans and is silicone and colorant free. It is inspired by the 'no shampoo shampoo' hair regime that came from America. Although I do like my shampoos to foam so that I feel they are actually working, I do really like this one (and I am usually very fussy about shampoos!). It's a really thick consistency, much like a hand or body cream which feels wrong putting it in your hair. You start at the roots and work down, however I tend to use waaaay too much product because I don't feel like I've covered it all!

Again I am very impressed by Yves Rocher! This brand is hitting the beauty blogging world by a storm and I am a huge fan! Have you tried anything from the brand?

The Bestest Week Ever

Sorry for the huge photo spam on this post, I just really wanted to share some photos of my past week with you all. A lot of close blogger friends and family read my blog and although I have many of them on Facebook, I have said for months now how I want to start sharing more personal things on here so here we go. Last week was a huge week for me, my boyfriend came home. As the people I want to know, know where Kayne was I wont go into it but it was massive for us all so I had the week off to celebrate and that's exactly what we did.

Tuesday we had a BBQ at a friends house, and the weather was so lovely. We also played beer pong (with beer and wine) which was so much fun although it takes such more time than you would think. I'm pretty sure I had sobered up by the time someone managed to pot a ball! Wednesday we spent the day seeing friends and Kayne met Laila-Mae, our best friends baby who is just over 2 months old. It was so cute. Wednesday evening we had a game on monopoly that I lost and nearly cried when I got out. BOOHOO.

Thursday we spent the day cleaning (FUN) and then stayed at my house in the evening. We never stay at mine so it was nice to relax in my own home. Friday we popped into town, Kayne got his eyebrows threaded (don't even ask!!!) and we had a monopoly rematch which again, I lost. Surprise surprise!

Saturday we went to Stratford Westfield which was bloody amazing! I only bought a bubble bar from Lush as I didnt have any money to spend. Kayne spent tonnes though, and I will go back there again! Saturday night we had a welcome home party which was so amazing. So many family and friends came, it was so so lovely. The pictures are of me & Kayne, and then me with one of my best friend Danii. We had a really really good night, thank you to everyone that came!

Finally on Sunday, I was surprisingly hang over free so we spent the day lounging. If you remember, Kayne and I got a dog last year and whiles he was away, my very kind grandparents took Bailey as she couldn't stay at Kayne's on her own. We took her to Felixstowe for the day (a huge dive, it gets worse every time I go!) and showed off our new trainers (they are both Huaraches, in case you're wondering) which are little & large!

I had the bestest best week and I'm so sad to be back at work but hey, only a few more days before bank holiday weekend and the week after we are going to Centre Parcs! Would you like to see a lifestlye-type post about that? Let me know!

I hope you enjoyed this kind of different post, please let me know if you want to see more (and if you want to see less haha). xx

Sunday Skincare

Pretty much everyone and their dog is aware of my non existent skin care routine. When I say non existent, I literally mean nothing. Nada. The only kind of 'routine' I have is when I take my makeup off with wipes (yup, you can all shout at me!) and any goodness/badness that are in the wipes. The truth is, I've never needed any skincare. I don't feel I'm bragging when I say that up until about 8 months ago I had pretty much perfect skin. I like to blame my newly found bad skin on stress that I've had but realistically, its all aspects of my life (diet, skin care, stress etc). Anyway, I'm blabbing.

When I went to the #nyLDNmeet which I wrote about here, I was introduced to MooGoo skin care. We were all allowed to select a product that best suited our skin and I embarrassingly explained to them about my non-skin care routine and they suggested I start off using a general moisturiser so I can get used to putting things onto my face. Since this arrived I honestly think I've used it pretty much every day. I absolutely hate the smell as I think it smells a bit like gone off milk (I have no idea why!!) but its a smell you get used to if you use it a lot.

Another thing I've loved doing is mixing the moisturiser with my foundation. I think I've made it no secret on here that I prefer to use BB creams, purely because thats what I'm used to using. Now my skin has got worse, BB creams aren't cutting it as much but I still don't like a really full coverage foundation so mixing this with my 'fuller' coverage foundation really helps. I've been doing this every time I wear foundation recently. Have I seen results? Although not very noticeable results spot wise, it has been making my skin a lot more hydrated and generally just feels a lot nicer. I will carry on using it and I would definitely recommend it if your looking for a new moisturiser.

As I mentioned I take my makeup off with wipes I KNOW I AM SO NAUGHTY!! so when I received this cleanser I made much more of a conscious effort to use it daily. I'm still not 100% used to using it (to you good beauty bloggers out there, how do you stop product from going in your eyes?! It's proving near impossible!!) and the fact I get it in my eyes every time does kind of put me off using it, although this is a personal #BeingABadBlogger issue and not the product itself.

The smell is again, a smell you have to get used to. It's very herbal smelling (I am probably completely wrong, I have the senses of a jellyfish) which is quite strong and honestly doesn't smell like anything I've ever smelt before. It's not a smell I would like to smell all the time but for the sake of taking my makeup off in a better way, I will do it. I really like the style of the bottle. It's glass with a really long and sturdy pump. As packaging goes, its a huge winner winner chicken dinner for me! Have I seen results? Again, not much spot wise but I feel like I get much more makeup off my face when I use this. I just wish I could work out how to use it without getting it in my poor eyes every time!!! Other then that it's very good at its job. I probably wouldn't repurchase it again, at over £20 that cheapskate in me says its way too much and I would class it as a 'higher end' product. Especially as I'm not keen on the smell, I know there are products out there with nicer smells and probably do an equally good job. I will use this one up first though!

What is your skincare routine like? Have you got any recommendations for me?

NEW IN | Kiss Cosmetics

Generally speaking you have probably never heard of Kiss Cosmetics (and no, hearing about them in the past few days doesn't count!). I hadn't until a few months ago when I and a selected few others were invited to a secret Facebook group for the company. In this group, Kiss Cosmetics asked us, bloggers as consumers everything from packaging ideas to colours of products. This is a brand that has pretty much been partly created by bloggers which makes me love it even more.

The KISSstick is the first of the line of products, launching on the 22nd April (less than a weeks time!) with other products being released at later dates. There are 10 shades in total, some have already been revealed but I think some are being kept a secret until launch day so head over to their social media to find out! I was sent Frisky Fuchsia* (RRP £7.00) which is a hot pink colour. Although I do actually own a lot of pink lipsticks, I rarely wear pink and I'm not sure why.

I'm not 100% what I expected from the brand. I wasn't sure if they were going to be the next Makeup Rev or simply bring out products that could just flop. I'm super pleased to tell you it's more the first. I actually can't believe how pigmented the lipstick is and as it's been sitting on my office desk, when I've been going to work with makeup and no lippy I've been applying this all the time. My social media loved it and in one picture when I didn't even mention the lipstick, I was complimented on it.

I kid you not, the swatch in the picture above is genuinely one firm swipe. Yup, it really is that good. The packaging is sturdy and reminds me a lot of the Makeup Rev & MUA lipsticks. But hey, ultimately its a bit of black plastic to store a lipstick in and it does the job absolutely perfectly. Now I just need to find a liner to match this gorgeous colour as bold lips always smear on my face and I need a liner to keep them in place. There is no doubt in my mind, Kiss Cosmetics are going to blow up. You heard it here first!

Montagne Jeunesse Facemasks

When my email pinged and I saw that it was about reviewing some Montagne Jeunesse face masks I did have to take a double look. I noticed the name, but I wasn't sure. After a bit of Google research, I was right. Montagne Jeunesse were the same face masks that I have used since before I literally can even remember. I used to take these masks to sleep overs when I was about 10! I was so pleasantly surprised, if I'm honest I wasn't even sure that the brand were still going!

A few days later I had some of the masks I knew only to well come through the post. I used one (Tea Tree Face Spa) the same day. I'm not sure why but I was drawn to this one. I think it's because it had Tea Tree in the name and we all know I'm a huge fan of tea tree based products. The actual mask itself was strange. It wasn't like a sticky, gooey mess that you had to some how apply to your face trying not to get it all in your hair and on your clothes, nothing like that. The only way I can describe it is that it was a piece of fabric with eye, nose and mouth holes cut out completely soaked in a liquid. It wasn't runny, the mask had soaked it all in. I don't think I've ever used a face mask like this before so I was intrigued.

I laid on my bed with the mask on. The only way to keep it on your face was by laying down, it would seem. This didn't matter though as it was quite relaxing. It was really cold too, which I wasn't expecting. Then again, it is a tee tree based product and tee tree always have a nice cooling effect. I think I laid with it on for about 15 minutes which was a perfect excuse for a lay day, y'know 'for blog purposes', of course

I rarely see results with face masks, the only one I can get along well with is the Boots own brand tee tree peel off mask. The next day I woke up with a few huge, sore spots. For me, that means its worked. That means its pulled all the bad things out of my skin and that is a job done well.

I have since used the two others and I've even gone out to Superdrug to buy more (sometimes even less than £1 you really cannot go wrong!). I am loving these and I'm so so glad I've been re-introduced to my childhood pamper sessions at friends houses. It's very nostalgic which is so nice.

Do you remember Montagne Jeunesse face masks? Have you used them recently?

THE TRUTH...

If you've been keeping up with the Twitter drama over the past day or so, not only do I applaud you but I also pity you for having to read it. I felt like I had to write something on here because I wasn't able to get my opinion/voice across on Twitter because now SO many people are involved and making it so much worse, plus 140 letters really isn't enough to explain such a huge situation like this. I really really REALLY did not want to write a whole blog post and actually spend my valuable time writing this when I really do have so much more I need to be getting on with but to save the tweets, messages and emails this post will clear everything up (I hope).

I have seen a certain name appear on my feeds and private chats for the longest time. Lies after lies after lies, lots of people sniggering behind backs and indirect tweeting (because hey, who is ever up front in the blogging world??). I'm not even going to go into the lies because my whole post would be taken up by them but lets just say there are a lot. One of the latest was a (personal) holiday to LA.

I knew this wasn't true and I was so fed up with everything that was being said so I will admit, I did set out to prove that it was a lie. I tried to find out via Twitter, and I found nothing. I then moved to Facebook and made the decision to add her personally. I still couldn't find anything and I really couldn't be bothered to listen to the lies that were being spurted so without warning I blocked her. I also blocked her on Twitter because I couldn't be bothered with it all. I couldn't see how I could prove that she was lying, so I just blocked it all out. I had decided to completely leave it until a few hours later, a close friend sent me a picture. Somebody they knew had reverse searched a 'personal photo' from her Twitter that she had posted of her 'holiday' and it came up as some mans Twitter account and it turned out he had posted the photo over a week ago. She had stole the photo. I retweeted the photo in question tagging her in saying 'I think someone has stolen your photo!'. She was quick to deny it, and even quicker to block me. This is when several others jumped in and was tweeting about it. Completely and utterly unbeknown to me they had noticed all these dodgy goings on too.

Now I will just say, although maybe a little outspoken, I definitely do not set out to 'ruin' anyones life. Of course not. I only set out to put a stop to this compulsive lying that I have been seeing go on for the longest time and apparently a lot of others are sick to death of it too. The difference is, I have a backbone and if you do follow me on Twitter you will know I often have little spats with people because of my opinions. That is just me, that's what I'm like. You either love it or you hate it. A lot has been said/uncovered/found out over the past day or so. And actually, a lot of it had nothing to do with me I just happened to be at the centre of it. I purposely kept as quiet as I could because I couldn't be bothered with it all. I've been in enough Twitter arguments to last me literally a life time. It's pointless and pathetic.

This whole thing has escalated like you wouldn't believe. It has literally broken my Twitter (55K impressions today and still rising...). People with literally no idea are trying to get involved, people I've never even heard of are also trying to get involved. I felt like I had to speak out because I'm at the centre of it all and now so many people are talking about it, it's crazy. Biggest thing to happen in the Blogger world since the whole GG Scandal!

I'm guessing a lot of people know about this trip abroad that has been arranged. I am just going to publicly say right now not once did I mentioned this trip and I have no idea why my name is being dragged in to personal chats that I am trying to ruin lives, ruin (illegal) business', making up I'm best friends with people I've spoken to once or twice. It's all utter rubbish. I just want to urge ANYONE who was thinking of handing over money to someone you don't know with so many lies surrounding a person, DON'T DO IT. A lot of people have been reading and following whats been going on, and I'm still getting messages saying 'I'm still not sure about it all'. WHY would anybody still believe a word that comes out of her mouth?! It's been proven SO many times that she is a lier. Through and through. Do not hand over any money.

I have probably missed so much stuff and if you think I need to update/include anything else please please please let me know. I'm not sure how long this post will stay up for and I probably will delete it at some point but for now, I hope you enjoyed reading and if you honestly have got this far you deserve a large medal. Or a glass of wine. Like I think I deserve. If I have saved even just one person by making a scene on Twitter then I think its all been worth it. Over and out!
